True Blue Home Inspections
ASHI Certified Home Inspector Serving Kenilworth, Illinois

Kenilworth is a small village of only 2,500 people. It was originally founded by Joseph Sears who purchased the land from several farmers. After he had sold the parcels for homes, the village was incorporated when it reached the population of three hundred in 1896. There are many elegant homes with deep setbacks on large lots. The most notable being the Hiram Baldwin house being designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The METRA Kenilworth train station and Kenilworth Union Church were designed by Franklin Burnham. The Kenilworth Club was a specially designed abode, built in 1907, which could host special events, which it has done ever since. The Joseph Sears School, District #38, provides education for elementary and middle school children. The town has many fine shops along Green Bay Road including the Mathnasium, and Great Coast Commons.
